2008 Nissan Altima Coupe, the all new 2 door coupe version for the present 2007 Altima sedan will be the first 2 door Altima and does not look like a sedan on which it is based. Introduced in Los Angeles Auto Show in November, the best selling vehicle from Nissan is going to solidify its position further. The sedan based 2 door version will catch the fancy of its riders with its perfect magnetic styling, height that is lower the sedan, shorter wheelbase and overall shorter length.
The XM Real-time traffic reporting, push-button starter the standard “Intelligent Key”, nine-speaker Bose audio, touch screen navigation system, Bluetooth phone connectivity are some of the features of 2008 Altima Coupe Nissan for its gizmos friendly riders. Get ready to be tumbled upon by the great things it has in store beneath its sheet metal body too. 2008 Toyota Sequoia

Not much is know about 2008 Toyota Sequoia as of now. What we know is that future Toyota Sequoia will be the biggest vehicle ever by Toyota due to its belief that bigger is better when it comes to full size SUVs.
2008 Toyota Sequoia will be built on same platform as 2007 Toyota Tundra. Dimensions for the suv are for sure going to be much bigger then the present model. The car is most likely to get both 4.7-liter and 5.7-liter V8 engine with either 5 or 6 speed transmission as in its Tundra.
Sequoia will match Chevrolet Tahoe and new Ford Expedition in its size, passenger capacity, tow ratings and horsepower. So here is another monster gas guzzler from the makers of best hybrid cars.
With the rising gas prices it is unlikely that biggie 2008 Sequoia Toyota will be successful.
2008 Dodge Viper - The powerful Reptile

A grand big center stage car from Chrysler Group i.e 2008 Dodge Viper, 600-horsepower, 8.4-liter V10 engine with 560 lbs of torque will make other models like 500-horsepower Corvette ZO6 and 500-horsepower BMW M6 search for corners. Ohhh, how 500 horsepower seems child’s play now..
Chrysler primarily focused on the Dodge brand in the final press conference at 2007 North American International Auto Show at Detroit and as expected their highlight was on official curtain raiser for the 2008 Dodge Viper.
2008 Dodge Viper would zoom from 0-60mph in just under 4 seconds and 0-100-0mph in 12 seconds. Now, that is impressive. The problem for the car is that it is outrageously powerful and not just powerful. Once you zoom on the road with the new Viper expect the world to follow behind you, i.e the power of 600 hp. Now it is going to be interesting war of horsepower and more auto rockets could be seen in near future.
The increased horsepower comes from extra 0.1 liter of displacement, new cylinder heads and variable valve timing. The other prominent cosmetic change include new and improved hood that has a larger scoop for air intake and louvers thus improving engine cooling. 5 body colors will be added in 2008 Viper which will take the total color count to 8. The interior styles are going to be wide with 5 interior color combinations and a choice of bezel and center console finishes.

Surely the hottest baby in the town, the new and improved 2008 Cadillac CTS has lived up to its hype and proved itself as the best and world class once again. Cadillac new entry level sedan is nothing less then a dream machine. 2008 Cadillac CTS has been thoroughly worked from its tip to toe.
The car’s major change is in the form of optional direct-injection version of 2008 Cadillac CTS new 6-speed automatic engine which runs on gasoline and produces 300 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. The car will also be available on demand, all wheel drive with the 258 hp 3.6 lt automatic combos.
The track for 2008 Cadillac CTS has grown by 2 inches which has pushed the wheels outward for posed stance. The overall width has increased by 2 inches and length by 1.5 inches. The other exterior enhancements include LED ancillary lighting elements, faster rear window, sculpted flanks and big size egg crate grille.
The interiors of CTS is no less then the exteriors. Hand crafted interior fittings, new dash, steering wheel, instrument cluster and increased rear seat legroom.
The new CTS will for sure play the role of big brother and give a stiff competition to BMW 3 Series, Acura TL, Audi A4 and others in the entry level premium sports sedan market.
2008 Porsche Cayenne to be unveiled at 2007 Detroit Auto Show

2008 Porsche Cayenne is going to be unveiled at 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit which will be open to public from January 14. Cayenne has been Porsche’s top selling car since its launch in 2003.
Porsche the German Car maker was known for its sports cars prior to 2003. Porsche fans were not happy by its decision to build SUV but once it paid off for Porsche there was no looking back. 2008 Cayenne Porsche is proof of Porsche’s constant interest to brighten Cayenne’s future.
Much awaited changes for the Cayenne line could be seen in 2008 Porsche Cayenne models which includes Turbo and S variants with its base model.
Direct gasoline injection system would insure increased fuel economy (by 15%) for the new car without compromising on power. The base model will produce extra 40hp as compared to previous model’s 250 hp from 3.6-liter 6 cylinder engine and will now move 0-62 mph in 8.1 seconds. The S variant will have additional 45 hp with its bigger and better 4.8-liter V8 engine. 2008 Cayenne Porsche Turbo will get a 50 hp increase.
Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control will almost eliminate body roll in turns. Other promising features include Trailer Stability control, curtain airbags and rollover sensors which will trigger belt latch tensioners.
General Motors Style Event - Men, Women & Machine

If it is General Motors it has to be big, bold and beautiful. Last night GM organized swanky, celebrities led GM Style event in Detroit Auto Show in a big tent near Renaissance Center. It was a red carpet parade of celebrities with cars.
Pop singer Nick Lachey with other celebrities shared the catwalk with 17 new GM vehicles and concept cars. Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter made a surprise appearance with Jay-Z Blue GMC Yukon Denali which took 2 years to complete and Shawn seemed quite satisfied with his signature color.
This was an invitation only event and nearly 1000 people attended it. It was more of GM warm-up for upcoming 2007 North American International Auto Show, opening to the public on Jan. 13.
Cheryl Hines (HBO - Curb Your Enthusiasm) cat walked along with green-grey Chevrolet Sequel concept. Mario Lopez walked down the ramp with electric blue Chevrolet WTCC Ultra race car concept whereas supermodel Petra Nemcova escorted white metallic Saab Aero X concept.
Other celebrities who walked the runway were Laird Hamilton and daughter, Gabrielle Reece, Jennifer Hudson, CariDee English, Kristen Bell, Nick Cannon; Ashley Scottwalked and finally sexy Carmen Electra.
Toyota FT-HS hybrid sports concept car at 2007 NAIAS

Toyota is all set to showcase its FT-HS hybrid sports concept car at the 2007 North American International Auto Show. Two other Toyota’s research groups are behind these sports cars which are based in Newport Beach, California (CALTY, Toyota’s North American-based, research and design centre) and California based Advanced Product Strategy Group.
According to Kevin Hunter, vice president, CALTY Design Research, “Drivers today are not satisfied with cars that are simply fast”.
Toyota famous for its hybrid cars is leaving no stone unturned and trying to enter into all car segments with its advanced hybrid technology. FT-HS hybrid sports car will be different from Toyota’s other hybrid cars in its high output power train for powerful acceleration and optimal performance. Other then the sports car essentials like speed and acceleration, the car will also have a sleek profile lightweight and aerodynamic shape.
Sleek, high acceleration, ultra low emissions, great fuel efficiency, driving fun, aerodynamic shape, eco-friendly - did you wanted more out of your next sports car?
This car is going to be a sure hit with environmental friendly people and will eye for mostly young buyers.
If you thought Toyota will compromise with its power train then look at this data - The car is projected to have 0-62 mph acceleration in less than 4 seconds. FT-HS hybrid sports car will be fitted with V6, 3.5L-engine which will have a power output of 400 HP.
